Insoles

Any advice on what insole to get to replace the ones that came with my skates? The original ones are killing my feet.

ha-ha, skateboard shoe insoles work amazing, because they are extremely padded AND durable, they work WAY BETTER than that doctor sholes crap.

Might not be the same as I'm typically smaller than the average male skater, but I REALLY liked blue super feet for my skates!

I'm in accord with Fawkes as far as Superfeet go, although I use two different kinds. In my outdoor skates (which are boxers), I use the blue ones, but in my indoor skates (125s) I use the ones made for skates specifically, which when I got them were gray, but I think are yellow now. I didn't know they made ones specifically for skates when I bought the blue ones.

Q: Why are the Yellow insoles recommended for skates and cycle shoes?

A: The cycling shoe profile has a raised heel and ramp angle down to the toe. This is true in road cycling shoes as well as ice skates.

When I got my blue ones they hadn't started making the ones for skates.

The different colors are mostly about heel elevation in the boot. I have both yellow and blue.
