Hey folks, can I get a show of hands on a couple of things?

Are you using a non USARS/WFTDA carrier for insurance?

If so, are you using the Heffernan brokers?

If not, what are you using?

Have you ever filed any claims on your insurance?

Harm City is using Francis L. Dean & Associates for our season and our practices. We have used both USARS and Heffernan in the past, and the insurance we're getting from FLD is the same at a pretty decent discount from the other two.

We have (luckily) never had to file a claim.

I should probably point out that Francis L. Dean is the carrier for which the Heffernan Group brokers. Not sure how reciprocity works between the two, though...

Man's Ruin (OSDA) uses an amateur sports policy written through the Philadelphia Insurance Companies. Costs about $450 per year for $1,000,000/$3,000,000 coverage with a personal injury exclusion for participants.

Legally covers the league for any venue /event where broad form insurance liability is required. This is typical amature sports coverage that can be aquired through pretty much every good-sized broker in the country.

Havn't had a claim on it yet (looking for some wood to knock on)...
