Well... so far we are three and a half people, but that is still almost triple of what we started off as! :)

Stay with it... We struggeled for 8 months only having a core group of 5 guys and no place to practice and a year after we started we have a well established team.

And while I'm not sure if he's counting me as a whole or a half person ;-), I will be working with Fresh Eddie Fresh to help launch the Boston league.

I'm grateful that the MDC is doing so much to promote the growth of men's derby and I know this forum is going to be a great help to us as we embark on the long, difficult climb out of the primordial ooze to become a functioning league.

Best regards,

-Al (whose derby name is still TBD upon learning that somebody nabbed "Adam Smasher")

Hey there forum at large,
I'm one of the new Boston Manflesh working to get this thing off the ground. I'm looking forward to picking peoples brains in the months to come on all manner of topics. It's nice knowing such a helpful group has our back.

Boston Manflesh? Please tell me that's your team name. That's amazing.

The Boston MANglers
Little Johnny Dillinger, the son of a church-going grocer, was the bad seed of the Dillinger family. Before his teens, Johnny organized a gang of kids called the Dirty Dozen
